The Declaration of the Anti-Slavery Convention, a founding document of the American abolitionist movement that was issued in 1833, was the subject of a research fund headed by Ameer Suhayb Carter. The lot had an initial estimate of between $3,000 and $5,000. The winning bid was not commented on by the auction house.
