The Kings beat the Lakers 141-137 in triple overtime on Friday, with De'Aaron Fox scoring 34 points and Buddy Hield scoring 25.

The Kings went on an 11-2 run to go up by seven in the final minute of the game, after the Lakers had taken a 126-123 lead into the third overtime. Marvin Bagley III had five points in the spurt, including a three-point play.

With 9.4 seconds remaining, the Lakers were within a basket, but Hield sank a pair of free throws to put it away.

The Kings had seven players in double figures. They are 2-1 under the interim coach.

The Lakers had four players with at least 20 points for the first time this season in a win over the Rockies. Russell Westbrook had 29 points, Anthony Davis had 23, and Malik Monk had 20.

The Lakers scored the first six points of the first overtime and were up 112-106 before the Kings scored seven in a row to tie it. Davis had a layup with 9.1 seconds left in the game, but the Kings forced a second overtime on Hield's jumper.

The lead in the second overtime was three points. James made a layup with 24 seconds left to tie it. The Kings couldn't get a shot off.

How did we get to overtime?

Monk scored 11 points during a 24-8 second-half run that saw the Lakers turn a three-point deficit with 4 minutes to go in the third quarter into an 86-73 advantage with 10 minutes to go.

The Kings went on a 22-5 rally, including eight points from Alex Len, to take a 98-93 lead with . Los Angeles scored seven of the last nine points in regulation to force overtime.

After a layup by James gave the Lakers a 100-98 advantage, Fox tied it with a layup with 21 seconds to go. James missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game to overtime.

Fox had at least 30 points in the game. He scored 37 in San Antonio. Davis had 13 points before he was ejected from the game. Harrison Barnes was out with a foot injury and Richaun Holmes was out with an eye contusion.

Anthony was 6 of 13 from the field after going 7 of 27 in the previous two games. Since joining Los Angeles, Monk has scored at least 20 points in three games. Davis stole the ball from Fox in the first overtime to reach 800 career steals.
