Buffalo Bills CB Tre'Davious White has torn ACL, out remainder of season

The Buffalo Bills will be without one of their best players for the rest of the season, as they push for the playoffs, because of a torn knee.

The team returned from New Orleans and the fifth-year corner had an exam which confirmed the news.

The injury happened in the second quarter of the game. White was able to walk off the field on his own, but was ruled out of the game. Jackson replaced him.

After the game, Sean McDermott said they would take it one day at a time, and that they would "pray" that he's back.

White is the team's top corner. The 2020 All-Pro has been the nearest defender this season, and he is allowing a completion percentage and passer rating of 50.8% and 58.9 respectively, both fourth-best among defensive backs with 50-plus targets.

He has 41 tackles and one intercept on the season.

Josh Allen said that the guys in the locker room were praying for him. You can't say a bad thing about that man. He busts his ass every day.
