White was ruled out of the game against the Saints after sustaining a left knee injury in the second quarter.

White is one of the team's best defensive players and was a significant loss for a unit that was almost back to full health. Buffalo was up 10.

The All-Pro corner is allowing a 50.8% completion percentage and 58.9 passer rating when White is the nearest defender, both fourth-best among defensive backs with 50-plus targets this season.

"Tre'Davious is a huge player for us and his presence on the football field is unparalleled, and hopefully he's healthy," Hyde said.

The injury happened in the home state of the player. The Shreveport native was playing in his first professional game.

White was targeted once in the first quarter and once in the second quarter. He was covering a wide receiver. After walking off the field with a limp, he was frustrated on the sideline and was examined in the team's medical tent.

Josh Allen said that the players in the locker room were praying for him and that they were hurting with him. You can't say a bad thing about that man. He busts his ass every day.

After the game, Sean McDermott said the team would take it one day at a time with White's injury.
