The Las Vegas Raiders snapped a three-game losing skid, beating the Dallas Cowboys 36-33 in overtime on Thanksgiving Day.

The Cowboys scored a touchdown with 2:56 left in the game on a pass from the quarterback to the wide receiver. The two-point conversion was reconnected by the pair.

Carlson made a 29-yard field goal with 4:31 remaining in overtime to give his team the win.

Las Vegas' last win was in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Raiders have not fallen below.500 this season.

The Cowboys dropped three of their last four after a 6-1 start. Their recent slide will have fans wondering if the early progress was a mirage.

Notable performers.

Carr was 24 of 39, 373 yards, one touchdown and carried 21 yards.

Josh Jacobs had 22 carries, 87 yards, one touchdown and two catches.

Hunter Renfrow had eight catches for 134 yards.

The quarterback for the Cowboys was 32-of-47, 375 yards, two touchdown and one carry.

Tony Pollard had 10 carries, 36 yards, and four catches.

Wilson had seven catches for 104 yards.

Raiders do just enough.

The Raiders scored on their first drive of the game as Carr hit DeSean Jackson for a 56-yard touchdown.

Josh Jacobs punched it in from a yard out to help Las Vegas build a lead. The team averaged about 14 points in its last three games, so it was about as good as fans could have hoped for.

The Raiders offense has been bad for three weeks. They play a good Dallas defense on a short week. The league will start in 2021.

The Raiders lost their best pass-catching threat,Darren Waller, to a knee injury in the second quarter.

Renfrow made some big plays.

A reception of 31 yards in the third quarter put his team in Cowboys territory and led to a touchdown run by Marcus Mariota. Renfrow and Carr hooked up again in the fourth quarter, this time for 54 yards, to set up a field goal by Carlson.

Las Vegas scored 36 points, which is a season high. It felt like the offense was getting by at times because it went 3-of-13 on third down and found the end zone on two of its first four trips into the red zone.

The Cowboys helped.

Cowboys have self-inflicted wounds.

The Cowboys knew that they would likely be without the services of Cooper after placing him on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The league's concussion protocol hadn't been cleared by the time the game was about to start, according to Fox Sports' Jay Glazer.

Cooper and Lamb accounted for 44 percent of Dallas' passing yards entering this week.

The Cowboys offense performed well without their leader. In the fourth quarter, Michael Gallup and Cedrick Wilson stepped up in a big way to account for Cooper and Lamb's absence.

Tony Pollard brought the home crowd to life with a 100 yard kick return touchdown in the third quarter.

Next Gen Stats.
Tony Pollard reached a top speed of 20.97 mph on his 100 yard return for a touchdown, the fastest play of his career.

The penalties totaled 166 yards and Dallas didn't do enough to overcome them.

Cowboys overcame these penalties earlier in the season when their offense was hitting all cylinders.
That is no longer the case.

A pass interference call on Anthony Brown on a 3rd-and-18 in overtime set the Raiders up at the Cowboys' 24 yard line. Las Vegas didn't need to get close to the goal line before sending Carlson.

Dallas had a touchdown reception wiped off the board because of a holding call on Tyron Smith.

What's next?

The Dallas Cowboys will play the New Orleans Saints on December 2. The Washington Football Team will be in Las Vegas on December 5.
