The Amazon Prime rewards Visa is the one to start with. I've seen many data points of people getting approved for this one. The current offer is a $200 gift card with 5% earning on Amazon for Prime members. No more chasing down gift cards. It would make sense since Amazon has not been very happy with Visa lately and this may be an attempt to smooth things over with them.
Southwest personal cards have a tiered welcome offer worth up to 100,000 Rapid Rewards points. Within the first 3 months, the United Explorer Card has an offer of 60,000 miles. The United Explorer card is the lowest ranked card in the Chase personal card welcome offers.
The positive data points on these are not as plentiful. A user on the site says it has to do with status with the airlines. Some people will get past based on their status with Southwest or United. I'm not sure if that has merit or not, but approvals seem rare in this case. If you really want the Southwest offers in an attempt at a Companion Pass next year, it may be worth trying.

If you want to get a $200 Amazon gift card for the holiday shopping season, I think the Amazon Prime rewards Visa is a good choice. The United and Southwest cards? If you are above Chase 5/24, there are some risks that an application will expose you to. Before you accept a $200 offer, be aware of that. If approved, it will add a slot to your count. If you've been wanting an Amazon card for a while, now is the time. If Chase loses the contract with Amazon, it could turn into a Chase Freedom Flex. One can only hope.
