The new pro football NFT marketplace has a name: NFL All Day

The NBA Top Shot introduced many sports fans to the world of NFTs, and now the NFL is following suit. In September, the league announced a partnership with the company that runs Top Shot, and now we know the name of the service that will distribute the video highlight clips that make up the "Moments" that become NFTs: NFL All Day.

Is the NBA able to make NFTs cool?

NFTs allow you to buy and sell ownership of unique digital items and keep track of who owns them. NFT stands for non-fungible token, and it can contain anything digital, including drawings, animated GIFs, songs, or items in video games. The NFT can be one-of-a-kind, like a real-life painting, or one copy of many, like trading cards, but the blockchain keeps track of who has ownership of the file.

The trading and showcasing of moments will be done on the All Day platform, using the same technology as Top Shot.

The website hosting the NFL All Day waitlist has been updated, promising visitors that they can experience the future of fandom via digital video collectibles. There is a chance that there is an audience for Top Shot among hundreds of millions of football fans. It is not clear what they will do with these collectibles once they have them or if the marketplace can maintain its popularity as more users anticipate uncovering rare finds in their packs.
