New Orleans Saints' Alvin Kamara, Cameron Jordan help surprise shoppers by picking up grocery tab

The Saints players surprised shoppers with a Thanksgiving grocery gift on Wednesday night.

Larry Morrow, a New Orleans businessman, and Matt Bowers, a car dealership owner, along with social media personality Supa Cent, paid the bills for everyone in the Save A Lot supermarket. The final total was $21,000.

Saints running back Akamara and quarterback larry will be bagging groceries and mingling with fans at a Save a Lot store to surprise shoppers before Thanksgiving.

Being able to be a blessing is huge for us. Everyone here is fortunate. This is simple, yet meaningful.

In the past, Morrow and Kamara had collaborated for Thanksgiving turkey distributions, but this year the tradition was interrupted by COVID-19. They started a new holiday tradition.
