Lady Gaga has had a lot of success in the last year, including singing the national anthem at President Joe Biden's inauguration and House of Gucci.
She told Stephen Colbert on The Late Show that singing the national anthem was one of the proudest moments of her life.
She talked about her dress at the performance, and an extra element of it. She said that there was a bulletproof vest sewn into her dress, which made her and her family feel safe. In a Vogue interview at the beginning of November, Gaga revealed that part of the dress was made of fabric.
Gaga said it was a scary time in the country. I care a lot about my family. I put myself in dangerous situations in order to do what I love as a performer. I did that for myself, but also for my family, so that they would feel confident.
