The Atlanta Dream players were suspended by the WNBA for their roles in an altercation outside of an Atlanta-area club in May and for related health and safety protocol violations.

Both Williams and Bradford were suspended for two games. The suspensions will start with the first regular-season game that each player is eligible to play after signing with a new team.

Williams had a career-best season, scoring a career-best 16.5 points. Her season ended in August because of a foot injury.

The two players won't be re-signed by the Dream. The video of the fight, which was posted on social media last month, showed the two players throwing punches in a confrontation with a group of women.

After the video surfaced, Williams apologized on his account. I wouldn't want to represent myself in a negative way. I'm learning every day and I need grace as I grow. I apologize again and I will be better moving forward.

Williams is a member of the new basketball league.
