The free nights will be extended to July 2022.
The free weekend night certificate is offered on several co- branded Hilton Honors Amex cards, like the Hilton Aspire Card, or as an incentive for spending money on a card. The expiration of some of these certificates has been extended again.
The expiration dates of the free night awards issued by the hotel chain have been extended through July 1, 2022. Prior to this, they had been extended through January 3, 2022, and August 31, 2021.

The free night rewards are valid through July 1, 2022.
The free night rewards are valid for 24 months.
The free night rewards are valid through December 31, 2022.
These are historically weekend free night awards, but can be used for stays any day of the week, and not just on weekends. It adds a lot of flexibility to the rewards.
I redeemed my last several free night awards at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, and the other hotels. At the moment some cardmembers have been targeted with a promotion offering a free night certificate after spending $8,000, which is a great deal, in my opinion.

The credit card free night awards issued in 2020 were extended to January 3, 2022. Expiry dates should already show as being updated since these have been extended through July 1, 2022.
The free night awards are a great example of how the benefits have been extended during the Pandemic. I love the flexibility of being able to redeem them for stays any night of the week, not to mention how long they have been valid.
