The New York Giants have fired their offensive coordinator after less than two years on the job.

The Giants continued their offensive struggles after their loss to the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football.

The Giants ranked 27th in the league in points per game and 31st in scoring in 2020.

At the start of the season, the pressure began to build. The offense needed to be improved as Freddie Kitchens moved into a senior offensive assistant role.

Giants coach Joe Judge was asked if he would continue to call plays after Week 4.

After nine years as the Dallas Cowboys' head coach, he joined the Giants in 2020. He did not call plays from 2012 to 2019.

The former Giants quarterback didn't have any previous experience working with Judge, so he was always a curious hire.

The Giants ownership recommended Judge after he was hired. The two met and Judge said the conversation was great.

From the start of his tenure, the Giants lack of aggression and offensive innovation was obvious.
