Fifa fair play award 2021: Denmark, Scott Brown & Claudio Ranieri nominated

Celtic captain Brown supports Rangers.

The response of the players and medical staff to Christian Eriksen's cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 has earned them a nomination for the fair play award.

Team-mates formed a circle to protect him from cameras and comforted his wife as he was given life-saving cardiopulmonary assist after collapsing during the Danes' opening game.

Scott Brown and Ranieri were nominated for their support of Glen Kamara, who was racially abused by Rangers players.

Inter Milan's Christian Eriksen is not allowed to play in Italy this season because of his cardiac arrest, which was caused by an ICD device.

In March, before the Old Firm derby, Brown approached Kamara to offer his support after the Finn had been subjected to racial slurs by Ondrej Kudela.

Kudela was banned for 10 games by Uefa.

Inter Milan received a guard of honour from Ranieri's Sampdoria side in May after the club won its first Serie A title in 11 years.

The winner of the award will be decided by a panel of experts.
