Ahead of the release of Jesus is King, Kanye West has released a behind-the-scenes teaser of the film. The brief clip comes in at under two minutes and shows West overseeing the filming of the Jesus is King, with footage interspersed with biblical verses.

The bulk of the behind-the-scenes clip, which was uploaded today to West's YouTube channel, shows the filming of a scene at the Roden Crater installation by artist James Turrell, located in Arizona's Painted Desert. There West observes a gospel choir singing inside the site. The brief clip also shows Turrell himself discussing his work. The clip is available to view on IMAX's IGTV channel as well as on YouTube.

The movie was directed by Nick Knight and filmed during summer 2019. Jesus is King will focus primarily on West's Sunday Service, and will include music from his forthcoming album, also titled Jesus is King. Knight, primarily known for his fashion photography, has previously worked with West on his "Bound 2" music video and also photographed the rapper with his wife Kim Kardashian for L'Officiel in 2013.

Jesus is King was originally slated for release in September of this year. Despite the delay in the film's release, West already dropped accompanying merch for Jesus is King earlier this fall.

Jesus in King will be shown in IMAX theaters across the U.S. starting October 24, with tickets available online.
