The Latest Matrix Resurrections Posters Reveal Characters New and Old

We don't know a lot about The Matrix Resurrections, it's just one month away. There are new character posters on the movie's official account. We know about the deal between Keanu and Carrie-Anne. Who are the other characters and actors who are so important to the story that they deserve their own poster?

We know the character names for six of the eight posters. The good news is that Warner Bros. is not revealing the other two. The posters are designed to make you more excited to return to the Matrix.

Or should we say, Thomas Anderson? The first trailer refers to him by his Matrix name, Thomas Anderson, even though he will become a super hacker once again.

One of the biggest clues that the story will be flipped on its head is that Trinity doesn't seem to recognize Neo in The Matrix Resurrections.

Bald, sunglasses, fighting Neo in a temple? The man is playing Morpheus. How does this Morpheus connect to the earlier films? We don't know.

Since the trailer shows her as having a White Rabbit tattoo, it makes sense that she is called "Bugs" She has a big role in the film.

Neil Patrick Harris is playing a psychologist in The Matrix Resurrections. Thomas Anderson is one of his clients and it is implied that he assigns him lots of blue pills to make sure he keeps his mind sharp. Does the character know he is in the Matrix? Is he a good person? We will have to wait and see.

We have to make assumptions about a few characters based on the previous films. If we are to go by that, the comfortable outfit and apartment of the actress in the trailer reminds us of the first film. The Warner Bros. press site does not give a name.

We don't know anything about the new character played by Eréndira Ibarra, other than her name is Lexy. She is on the main one-sheet with four other main characters, so we assume she is important.

Jonathan Groff, best known for his work in Mindhunter and Hamilton, is in the trailer for the upcoming film, but it is not known who he is. This photo of him with a gun, sunglasses, and clean-cut appearance makes him look like an agent. The Warner Bros. press site doesn't give a definitive name.

We will get all the answers when The Matrix Resurrections opens in theaters.
