Laurie, Parnell's ex- wife, testified in court that the Pennsylvania Republican abused her during their marriage and tried to choke her. Parnell denied the claims under oath, and said the allegations were baseless. Laurie will have sole legal primary custody and primary physical custody of their children, while Parnell will get the kids three weekends a month, according to a docket filed by a Pennsylvania judge on Monday. Parnell was running for the Senate seat that was left vacant by Pat Toomey, who decided not to run for reelection. Parnell was endorsed by Trump in September, despite the fact that he lost his congressional race to Lamb.
