Florida football loses another commitment in ESPN 300 athlete Isaiah Bond

Since Dan Mullen was fired on Sunday, the Florida Gators have lost five recruits.

The class was not up to the standard that Florida has recruited in the past. The Gators' class was the eighth-best in the SEC in the October rankings.

Bond's decommitment is likely to cause that ranking to fall. Buford High School in Buford, Georgia has a 6-foot, 180-pound prospect named Bond.

Bond had been looking around and visited Alabama this past weekend, so this wasn't a last-second decision. Since the firing of Florida's head coach, only two decommitments have been made, but they have added on to a list that has started to pile up.

Over the past month, Florida has decommitments from Shemar James, Julian Humphrey, and a tight end.

The class is now down to just five commitments, with wide receiver Chandler Smith and quarterback Nick Evers, running back Terrance Gibbs, and offensive lineman Tony Livingston. On Monday, he said that he is staying committed to Florida but that his recruitment is open to other schools.

The program now has 11 commitments in the class, with three weeks to go before early signing day.
