Champions League & Europa League: Who has qualified and who needs what

There are a lot of big games this week in the European Championship, including a match between Manchester City and Paris St-Germain.

Who is already through and who needs what?

The knockout stage spots are still up for grabs with two group games remaining.

In the same way, in the Europa League, West Ham, Celtic, and Rangers are competing.

Who will make it to the knockout stage?

The teams that made it to the playoffs are:

Besiktas, RB Leipzig, and Malmo are out.

Who has something left to play for?

Group A includes Manchester City, Paris St-Germain and Club Bruges.

Group B includes Porto, AC Milan and Atletico Madrid.

Group C includes Sporting Lisbon.

Group D includes Real Madrid, Inter Milan, and Sheriff Tiraspol.

Group E includes Barcelona, Benfica, and Dynamo Kyiv.

Group F includes Manchester United, Atalanta, and Young Boys.

Group G includes RB Salzburg, Lille, and Sevilla.

Group H includes Zenit St Petersburg.

What do sides need to do to get in?

Manchester City or Paris St-Germain will win the top spot?

Club Bruges and Manchester City will play on Wednesday, 24 November.

If they beat Paris St-Germain in their next game, Manchester City will qualify for the next round. If Club Bruges fails to win against RB Leipzig, both sides will progress.

Falling behind the Reds.

On Wednesday, 24 November, there are two football games: AC Milan v Porto andLiverpool v Porto.

If AC Milan beats Atlante at the Wanda Metropolitano and Porto beats the Reds on Merseyside, they will advance.

If both AC Milan and Liverpool win in the last round of games, Porto will need to beat Atlante at home in their final group match to qualify.

They will fight it out.

Besiktas and Sporting Lisbon will play on Wednesday, 24 November.

The final qualification spot could be decided by the result of the trip to Lisbon by the Germans.

If they win, they will progress regardless of the results in the final round of matches.

The same would apply if the margin of their defeat in the reverse fixture in Germany was more than one goal.

A draw would leave Besiktas in a better position going into their final group game, withSporting travelling to Amsterdam.

In pole position.

Inter Milan v Shakhtar Donetsk is on Wednesday, 24 November.

The winner of Group D would be decided on 7 December when Real Madrid and Inter Milan meet at the Bernabeu.

If a double over Real were to happen, they would move above Real by virtue of their record against the Spanish club.

Is it possible that Barcelona will join Bayern?

On Tuesday, 23 November, there are two games: Barcelona v Benfica and Dynamo Kyiv v Bayern Munich.

A victory over Benfica would see them progress. The Catalan side will be looking to get the job done at the Nou Camp before their final match against Germany.

A win by Benfica would put them in a good position to qualify for the playoffs.

Man Utd are in a battle.

On Tuesday, 23 November, Young Boys and Atalanta play each other.

Having already beaten the Spanish side at Old Trafford, Manchester United will travel to Villarreal knowing that a win will see them into the knockout stage.

If Unai Emery's side win that game it will leave the English club needing to beat Young Boys in their final game to have a chance of qualification.

A four-way battle.

Lille and Sevilla will play on Tuesday, November 23.

Salzburg will advance to the knockout stage with a win over Lille. The group is wide open with all four teams able to qualify.

The club is close to securing a qualification.

On Tuesday, 23 November, there are two games: Zenit St Petersburg and Malmo.

Regardless of the outcome of Zenit St Petersburg's trip to Sweden, reigning champion Chelsea will confirm their qualification for the last 16 with a draw.

If the Italians were to beat the Germans, they would need to beat Russia in the final game to make it through.

The European League.

Group A: Sparta Prague, Rangers.

Group B includes Monaco, Real Sociedad, and PSV Eindhoven.

Group C includes Spartak Moscow and Legia Warsaw.

Group D includes Fenerbahce and Olympkos.

Group E includes Galatasaray, Lazio, and Lokomotiv Moscow.

Group F includes Red Star Belgrade, Midtjylland and Ludogorets.

Group G includes Real Betis, Celtic, and Bayer Leverkusen.

Group H includes Dinamo Zagreb, Genk and Rapid Vienna.

British sides need to do something to qualify.

The Rangers are in the mix.

Rangers and Sparta Prague are playing on Thursday, November 25.

Rangers can still qualify for the knockout round play-offs if they finish second. The play-offs will be between the eight runners-up from the Europa League and the eight third-ranked teams from the Champions League. If Rangers win their last two games, they will finish second. Their final group game is away to Lyon.

They have it all to play for.

Thursday, 25 November - Legia Warsaw vs.Leicester City.

With Spartak Moscow and Napoli playing each other on Wednesday, there will be a good idea of what they need to do to progress. The final group game is away to Napoli, and the Foxes know they cannot slip up.

Celtic need to win in Germany.

Real Betis and Celtic are playing on Thursday, 25 November.

A win in Germany will put Celtic in a strong position to advance, even though they trail group leaders by four points with two games to go. Their final group game is against Real Betis.

Will the hammers finish top?

Rapid Vienna plays West Ham and Dinamo Zagreb plays Genk on Thursday, November 25.

If West Ham don't win against Austria and then against Dinamo Zagreb, they will be out of Group H.

The conference is called the Europa Conference.

Who is moving forward?

There are five places that have qualified: Maccabi Tel Aviv, LASK, Gent, and Qarabag.

HJK Helsinki, Alashkert, CSKA Sofia, Lincoln Red Imps, Omonia, Kairat are out.

Will Spurs or Rennes decide the top spot?

On Thursday, November 25th, there are two games: Rennes v Vitesse and NS Mura v Spurs.

The Spurs face Rennes on 9 December in a game that could decide the top spot, but first Antonio Conte's men need to make sure they do a good job against the Mura.
