Adele's teary reunion with her inspirational English teacher is a sweet, hilarious watch

An important figure from the past of the British singer was moved to tears during her concert on Sunday.

Dame Emma Thompson asked if there was a figure in her life that supported and inspired her when she was younger. Miss McDonald was an English teacher at Chestnut grove Academy and she was recalled by the singer.

"She got me interested in literature," she said. I've always been a fan of English, and now I write lyrics. She was cool. So engaging. She cared about us and made us care.

The singer remembered how she used to do street dance and wear gold bracelets, and she was very fond of Miss McDonald.

She was so personable and cool that I really looked forward to my English lessons.

It was revealed that Miss McDonald was in the audience, and that she was on stage with the singer to give her a hug.

"Oh my god, I'm so proud of you," the former teacher said.

"You changed my life, you really did," she said, holding back tears. I have to get my face re-done.
