You don't have to go to Florida to try Disney's voice assistant. Disneyland hotel rooms will be coming in 2022. It will be available in your room with the same features as in Disney World, but with the addition of an Amazon speaker.
MagicBand+ Wearables will be available at Disneyland in 2022, and guests will see more technology when they visit the park. You can use the wristband to enter the park, make purchases, and otherwise go touch-free, but they will also use a mix of lights, feedback and gesture control to make your experience better. You won't have to worry about reliving'magic' moments because the interactions are specific to Disneyland.
As a result of the Pandemic, both additions could be helpful. Updating the image of the parks is what this is about. The combo of voice control with wristworn devices might help Disney portray the parks as tech-savvy.
