The final season of The Expanse will start on December 10th.

Amazon Prime Video is available.

The Morning Show season two finale was a disappointment, like the rest of the season. Linda Holmes recap at NPR really nailed the point that a season that seemed full of promise never hit the mark because it couldn't quite figure out what it wanted to be. The latest season of Succession has yet to steer me wrong, however, and we learned this week that there is a fun Succession backstory.

This week's round up is heavy on sci-fi, which makes for nice symmetry.

The Expanse is a movie.

The sixth and final season of the sci-fi drama is a short six episodes. It has a lot of work to do and from the looks of the trailer, it only takes a few minutes to get to business, and the episodes must be jam packed. There is a new power on a distant planet. Ooh. New episodes of The Expanse will be weekly on Amazon Prime Video.

There is a town called Ozark.

I have a season behind on the Byrde family saga, so will need to catch up before season 4 drops. The full trailer runs in reverse from a terrible car crash to the show's beginning. Human beings make decisions and commit acts. It causes other people to make decisions. The snowball keeps rolling and the cycle continues. This show is uplifting. The words "no ending is reached by accident" appear over scenes of explosions, shootings, and all manner of violence until it closes on the Byrde family driving along in their minivan. We know that can't last. On January 22nd, 2022, the fourth season of the show will be on the streaming service.

You should encounter.

The official synopsis states that a decorated Marine goes on a rescue mission to save his two young sons from an unhuman threat. There is something weird swimming around in the one dude's eyeball that makes him freak out, there are bugs crawling and flying around everywhere that make him freak out, and all of these clues point to an alien invasion. The movie, which stars Octavia Spencer, is coming to theaters on December 3rd and Amazon Prime Video on December 10th.

The alley is called Nightmare.

We got a glimpse of Bradley Cooper's character in the film in September, but now we have a full look at him. The film is based on the 1946 novel by William Lindsay Gresham and stars Bradley Cooper, David Straithairn, and others.

Don't look up.

The movie stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jen Lawrence as two snoozing snoozing snoozing snoozing snoozing snoozing snoozing snoozing snoozing sno Don't Look Up, which stars Ariana Grande, Rob Morgan, Ron Perlman, and Mark Rylance, will be released on December 24th, after a limited run in theaters.
