The Oregon team that was trying to reach the College Football Playoff for the first time in three years was routed by Utah 38-7 on Saturday.
Oregon coach Mario Cristobal said that everyone was upset and disappointed. It should burn. It should hurt a lot. Guys are competitors and it's hard because we've taken a lot of pride in being able to bounce back from adversity. We didn't do a good enough job.
In its overtime loss to the Cardinal, the Ducks trailed by 10 at the half and had fallen behind throughout the season. There was nothing against Utah.
