On Friday, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer held a video news conference about how well his Manchester United players trained during the international break and his belief that the problems they have faced in recent weeks have been fixed.

It was a good time to work on all that hard work because of the game against the newly promoted team, a team that does not score many and concedes a lot. Instead, United gave up another poor performance and lost by a score of 4-1.

It has become a recurring theme for United fans to ask what is done in training, and it remains a mystery after they witnessed the actions.

It is now expected to be Norwegian's final game in charge.

Solskjaer expects Man Utd to be sacked.

At the end of the game, the fans fromWatford sang "Ole's at the wheel". The United board wanted Solskjaer to make it to the end of the season even after the humiliations of Manchester City and Liverpool, but the campaign is in danger of total implosion.

Usually, the risk of losing out on money from the European Championship makes the Glazers act with regard to managers, and United will not finish in the top four. The club will be lucky to finish in the top 10 if it goes on much longer.

Solskjaer was booed by the away fans at the end of the game and went over to them. Bruno was dragged away by Fred after he gestured toward the whole team as if to say "blame us".

Harry was sent off for two yellow cards in a seven-minute period in the second half that made his cupped- ear celebration for England seem even more ill-judged. The fact that the captain of the club was not far behind at the end of the game shows that the club is not falling apart.

Manchester United's fortunes were summed up by Harry Maguire.

The first question in Solskjaer's news conference was whether he believes he's still the right man for the job. "I always have faith in myself," he said. It's a difficult time for us. Can he turn this around?

Solskjaer watched as the Hornets went 2-0 up by half-time and kicked themselves that it wasn't more after he said he prioritised defensive stability for opponents who had not scored in seven of their 11 league games.

Josh King got the first midway through the first half and Ismaila Sarr the second just before the break, but that did not do justice to the horror show that United, who have just two clean sheets in 25 games, had produced.

The game was goalless until David De Gea saved two penalties and King had a point-blank headed chance, but the game was stopped because of VAR.

When the second goal went in, United's players were at the halfway line. There was no arguing or talking. As if more punishment was inevitable, there was not much as a token clap or an encouraging "come on." The referee's half-time whistle was the reason that it did not arrive.

The only 10 minutes of the game when United were on was when van de Beek and Martial were on, and they tried to score a goal to make it 2-1, but it turned out to be the only goal of the game. In the last minute of the game, Joao Pedro and Dennis added to the lead.

Van de Beek's appearance only reinforced the belief that the Dutch international should have been playing a long time ago. When revolt against a club legend is not an option, the fans in the corner of the road began singing his name.

Solskjaer said that fans who follow the club through thick and thin have been fantastic the last few years. We've had a hard time since Sir Alex left and fans who've been with us have been unbelievable.

"We hoped to kick on and we can't seem to find our form at the moment," United's manager said. They have the right to show their opinion. I have to get the players to perform better. The whole afternoon was disappointing.

After United's humiliation ended on the pitch, fans from both sides of the pond sang for Solskjaer to stay. While United are stuck in limbo, their rivals are laughing at them.
