Is it real?
It exists and has been photographed.
Let's just enjoy the new alternate jersey of the New JerseyDevils, whether or not it's real or not.
There is no doubt that it is a jersey. It's right on it. "Jersey." Maybe they will wear pants that say "Pants" on them and put "Helmet" on their helmets. If there ever was a hockey team, it would be after Richard Scarry.
The shoulder yoke stripes are clashing with the sleeve stripes. It is worse than the "Jersey" script across the front, which is incredibly silly, and has tremendous humor value.
The jersey is not found in the uniforms or logo history of theDevils. The Nets used to have "New Jersey" written in script on their jerseys.
The road duds were labeled as duds and lived up to their name. They only lasted two seasons. If this really is their plan, the Devils are getting around that pitfall by not using "New" or "Jersey".
Even if it isn't real, it needs to be.
