Fantasy football managers are considering throwing their phones against the wall because of the quarterback play in the NFL.

Patrick Mahomes had a three-week stretch prior to last Sunday in which he posted a total of 32.18 points. You read it right. He scored 36.24 points in one game against the Raiders, with 406 passing yards and five touchdown.

Matthew Stafford and Russell Wilson will be waiting for similar bounces. The quarterback had one of his worst days as a pro on Sunday, going 20-of-40 for 161 yards with two picks for 5.64 fantasy points in a loss at Green Bay. In a loss at San Francisco, Stafford had just 9.82 points with two turnovers.

Kyle Soppe, who is responsible for our 32 questions, had a question about Wilson. The Rams are on a bye this week, along with the Broncos. Don't look for them below.

Look for questions about the run games in Miami and Kansas City. Let's go.

The AFC EAST.

The Buffalo Bills.

What's going on with the senator?

The ball was always going to be spread around by the Bills. That's the reason why many players on Buffalo's offense are difficult to Fantasy options. The type of plays the Bills were running and the success of receiver Gabriel Davis made the difference in the snaps that Sanders played last week. As Brian Daboll tinkers with the offense to find the most success, there will be up-and-down days, but overall, he is still being targeted by quarterback Josh Allen. Davis might have a bigger role due to his speed and recent success.

The Miami Dolphins.

Gaskin seems to be the guy, but his production is not great. Will they still be committed to him?

There is no other option but to keep feeding Gaskin. Gaskin has been the most effective running back this season, but he hasn't been as effective as the other healthy running backs. Gaskin will give you an added bonus in your PPR league if Malcolm Brown is activated from injured reserve.

Play.

Mike Clay thinks the Dolphins should start running back Myles Gaskin against the Jets.

The New England team.

There are two good players in the backfield, but neither of them will be reliable in fantasy.

It's true. The way in which the staff used Rhamondre Stevenson and Damien Harris in Thursday night's win over the Falcons indicates that they will go series by series. For the first time, it was one series for Harris, then Stevenson, then Harris. It's possible that they could ride a hot hand as the season progresses, but that's not the case right now.

The New York Jets.

What is the best option for this offense moving forward?

The rookies are close over the edge overCorey Davis. In the past four games, Moore has 17 catches, four touchdown and one rushing. The only concern with Moore is that he didn't have a lot of production with Wilson, who is expected to return to the lineup next week.

AFC North.

The Baltimore Ravens.

Do you think he can produce consistently for the rest of the year?

It definitely looks like that, especially with the chemistry between Lamar Jackson and Bateman. Bateman is turning short passes into first downs. The schedule is not bad. Three of the Ravens' next four games are against defenses that are among the worst in yards allowed to wide receiver.

Play.

In Week 11 of the season, Mike Clay gives his reasons for being high on the two players.

The Cincinnati team is called the Cincinnati team.

Do you think he's the clear-cut receiver2 and a weekly fantasy flex option?

He appears to be the second wide receiver on the roster. As Ja'Marr Chase continues to warrant more defensive attention, that should leave Higgins with many favorable one-on-one battles. He hasn't capitalized on every opportunity so far, but he's slowly finding his rhythm with QB Joe Burrow and should be considered a flex option in PPR leagues.

The Cleveland Browns are a team.

Does Nick Chubb have a job when he comes back?

Chubb will be the guy when he comes back on Sunday. Once he's back from his calf injury, Hunt will get spot carries and catches in the passing game. D'Ernest Johnson has a chance to get a series or two. Chubb will remain Cleveland's lead back.

The Pittsburgh Steelers.

Is there anything to the Ray-Ray McCloud volume on Sunday?

McCloud's usage is not the beginning of a pattern. Right place, right time. The injury to Chase Claypool reduced the number of available Pittsburgh wide receiver. The game against the Lions is unlikely to become McCloud's new norm, as the Steelers would like to see him be a bigger factor in the receiving game.

The football team from the South.

The Houston Texans.

If Brandin Cooks is not on the team, who is it?

The person is Nico Collins. He had three catches for 25 yards in Week 9, but he is Houston's best receiving threat behind Cooks. Collins is averaging 12.7 yards per reception this season and with increased attention on Cooks, Collins could have some impact catches, especially on Sunday against a Tennessee defense that is allowing an average of 267.9 passing yards per game, which ranks 27th in the NFL.

The Indianapolis Colts.

Do you think the Colts will give Jonathan Taylor this volume in the future?

Taylor will be given as much workload as he can handle by the Colts. On the first episode of "Hard Knocks", it was pointed out that Taylor never tires out. Taylor had more than 20 carries and six catches in the Week 10 game against Jacksonville. Taylor has earned at least 20 carries a game, according to Frank Reich.

The Jacksonville Jags.

Is Dan Arnold the most reliable pass-catcher?

Absolutely. Arnold has 17 catches on 24 targets over the past three games and he leads the team in targets (40), catches (27), receiving yards (315) and yards after catch (151). Arnold is the leading receiver for the Jags at the end of the season, as the wide receiver is unable to get consistent separation and drop too many passes.

The TennesseeTitans are a football team.

Is D'Onta Foreman worth a speculative add, or is this backfield going to be muddied as long as Derrick Henry is out?

It is wise to avoid all running backs. After two games, no one emerged as the feature, with their roles still being worked out. He can catch the ball out of the backfield and run the ball, but his production is not worth adding him to the team.

The area of the AFC West.

The Kansas City Chiefs.

What does the backfield usage look like when he returns?

It was not much different than it was before he left the lineup. Williams will play a lot on third downs, as he did before. Jerick will get some playing time. It's possible that after a few games, he'll be the featured back because he missed a lot of time.

Play.

Stephania Bell and Mike Clay debate if fantasy managers should play the running back if he comes back from injury.

The Las Vegas Raiders.

Is BryanEdwards worth a fantasy roster spot the rest of the way? What do you think about his future?

The epitome of a Boom-Bust guy would beEdwards. There is depending on how much risk-taker Fantasy managers are. He had a good game in the loss to the Chiefs. He had zero catches on four targets in a close loss to the Giants. Hunter Renfrow might be the most creative receiver in the history of the game, and he's not a receiver who is usually used in Fantasy. -- Paul Gutierrez

The Los Angeles Clippers.

The rest of the way, the top receiver is...

Allen by a long way. He's the most reliable, has the best hands, and he has already caught 65 passes for 699 yards. --Shelley Smith

The Dallas Cowboys.

What did you think of Michael Gallup's return and which Cowboys receiver scored the most points?

He did not look like a guy who missed seven games with a calf strain. He finished with three catches for 42 yards, but one drop that could have been a huge play altered what could have been. The impact that Gallup has affects CeeDee Lamb. Lamb had two touchdown and 94 yards while sitting out a good portion of the second half with an arm injury, but the Cowboys were able to get him favorable coverage in the slot or outside. If I had to choose between Lamb and Gallup, I'd go with Lamb, but Gallup and Cooper will have their big days as well.

The New York Giants.

How many touches a week do you think we can depend on?

This is a difficult question because of the injuries that both Booker and Barkley are dealing with. Assuming both play, 15 touches seems reasonable for Barkley. It's difficult to project more. Booker has earned playing time and the Giants will have to decide how much to run against the second-ranked run defense. This week, the combination should keep his involvement down.

The Philadelphia Eagles.

DeVonta Smith has had no problems the past two weeks. Are we seeing sustainable growth or a nice run for a player who will be inconsistent?

Smith's game is growing, but it won't be the norm. Over the past three games, the play of quarterback Jalen Hurts has improved. I expect Smith to be a steady force the rest of the way because of the chemistry he has with Hurts.

Washington football team

We had been looking at this defense for weeks and it limited the Bucs. Was Week 10 a sign of things to come or a one-time, high-end performance?

The defense has allowed an average of 283.3 yards in the past three games, so I don't think it was a one-week thing. The secondary has improved thanks in part to using a heavy dose of three-safety sets, and the best place to find him is in the box. The next two weeks they face offenses that rank in the bottom third in both yards and points, Carolina and Seattle. They won't have end Chase Young for the rest of the season or Montez Sweat for another three to five weeks. Their linebackers are not consistent. The defense is playing better.

The north is called the NFC North.

The Bears are from Chicago.

Do you think the best is yet to come from Chicago's lead back? David Montgomery was a league winner late last season.

That depends on the Bears. Montgomery is a proven running back who lacks the necessary touches to be a great fantasy player. The third-year running back can break 100 yards and score a touchdown if Chicago commits to Montgomery. The Bears sometimes drift away from Montgomery during a game. Montgomery has been out for a couple of weeks with a knee injury, so he could be ready for a big game. You never know with the Bears.

Play.

Matthew Berry is a big fan of Bears running back David Montgomery.

The Detroit Lions.

Do you think Detroit wants to do a run-heavy approach in close games, or is D'Andre Swift's heavy workload the reason?

It was a mixture of both. The weather in Pittsburgh wouldn't be ideal, with heavy showers and 39-degree weather, so the Lions had to rely on the run-heavy approach. Swift and the ground game are the best way to close games because the receivers haven't proved they can close them. It makes sense.

The Green Bay Packers.

Give us an idea of what the usage will look like for the guy while he's out.

He plays like Henry. He's a power back, with a height and weight of nearly 250 pounds. He showed his skills with that 50-yarder. He should get 75% of the snaps until Jones comes back.

The Minnesota Vikings are a football team.

Tyler Conklin seems to be using more. Through nine games, he has a 35-353-3 stat line. Would you go over or under in each of the categories for the remaining eight games?

I would take the over, but I wouldn't expect Conklin to do well over the final eight games. The Vikings will face the Packers and Rams in December, two teams that haven't been great in covering tight ends, so those should be games where the Vikings look to theirTE1 often. The red zone is where Conklin is getting most of his touches, with eight targets and five catches inside the 20-yard line to go along with three touchdown catches.

The south of the US.

The Atlanta Falcons.

Is it time to stop chasing the upside and start evaluating if he's a fantasy starter on a week-to-week basis?

It's a difficult question. The lack of clear options at tight end still makes him an attractive option, but the thought of making him an instant plug-and-play is not realistic until Atlanta has Cordarrelle Patterson back. Maybe even not then. He's still getting good volume, five or more targets every week since Week 3, but the production hasn't been there on a week-over-week basis. He hasn't gotten into the end zone in the United States yet, but his season numbers are still good (43 catches, 635 yards), so it should be expected. Don't give up on him, be a little wary.

The Carolina panthers.

Do you think DJ Moore can figure things out if the offense shifts to CamNewton?

Definitely. Robby Anderson scored a touchdown last week because of the presence ofNewton. After a full week of practice, Moore should become one of the favorite targets of the quarterback.

The New Orleans Saints.

The featured man was Mark Ingram II. What do you think the touch distribution will look like when Kamara returns?

I still think that Kamara will be the clear No. 1 and Ingram will be the clear No. 2. I wouldn't worry about this turning into a timeshare based on performance. It's possible that the Saints could reduce the workload on Kamara in the short term to make sure he's fresh for the full season.

Play.

If Mark Ingram II gets the nod, Field Yates says that if Alvin Kamara plays, he should be a starter in fantasy.

The Buccaneers are from the state of Florida.

Antonio Brown is out, so Mike Evans only has three targets. Should we be concerned about his volume moving forward, even in a pass-heavy offense?

Whoever is in that third-receiver spot has to win. Evans showed last week that he's still capable of scoring without Brown, and the Giants' secondary is weak.

The west of the united states.

The ArizonaCardinals

Do you think the offense will click once it gets a week off in Week 12? Is Christian Kirk a fantasy difference-maker down the stretch?

I don't think the time off has anything to do with who is on the field. Not having quarterback Kyler Murray or wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has a direct correlation to the offensive issues of theCardinals. Will time off help the Cards rest? Yes. Will those two get more help? Yes, Josh Weinfuss.

The 49ers are from San Francisco.

Jeff Wilson Jr. had 10 carries in his season debut. How many carries do you think he will take off of in the coming weeks?

Wilson is the second back, which means he's always a chance to become the starter. The 10 carries against the Rams were part of a plan to get to 40-plus rushing attempts. It's not realistic to think they'll be over 40 every week, and Mitchell is still the man. Wilson's experience and third-down ability mean he's going to be a prominent part of the mix every week. Mitchell has had a tendency to get banged up, which hasn't slowed him much, but is something to monitor given that Wilson is the next man up if Mitchell misses time.

Play.

Matthew Berry has contingency plans for fantasy managers who have a player on their roster.

The Seattle Seahawks.

In the Week 10 performance from Russell Wilson, what did you think about the inefficiencies to Tyler Lockett?

Wilson insisted that his repaired finger felt fine against the Packers and that he simply made the wrong decisions on his two picks. His 20-of-40 finish doesn't explain his uncharacteristically poor throws and the two picks. rust and the cold weather could have been factors in Wilson missing the game in Green Bay because of his finger injury. He is facing a tough defense in Seattle on Sunday and neither should be an issue.
