Last Words Looks Kind of Like a Post-Apocalyptic Cinema Paradiso

Some people think dedicating your life to movies is silly. Movies are not worth watching. It was fleeting. Un important. Jonathan Nossiter says that those might be your famous Last Words.

That is a new film starring Nick Nolte, Charlotte Rampling, and Stellan Skarsgrd. The world was decimated by tsumanis in 2085, leaving a few people alive. Kal is played by newcomer Kalipha Touray. He thinks he is the last person on Earth but as he comes to meet a group of people very unlike himself, he discovers that cinema is just as important as humanity. The trailer for Last Words looks like a movie from the future.

Kal learns about how pictures can capture history and preserve history as he learns about the film in the trailer. You pay to see the movie because of what happens from there. The trailer looks like a blend of post- apocalyptic drama and a very unique story about the appreciation and preservation of film. It feels like a movie that would explain why movies are so important. They are more than just entertainment and art, they are snapshots of our wildest dreams and realities.

Come on, I mean. You can't go wrong with multiple Oscar and Emmy nominees. Some of our best actors are at that age where they don't get as many opportunities as others. It is great to see them in anything, but it is even better to see them in Last Words.

On December 17th, Last Words will be released in theaters and on demand. What do you think about the trailer? Will you be looking for this one?
