One day before they'll fight for the WBO title, Shawn Porter and Terence Crawford both weighed under the limit. The pay-per-view is on the Disney channel.

Crawford weighed in at 146.4 pounds, while Porter weighed in at 146.6.

Crawford said he respected everything Shawn did. "Shawn is athletic, he can box, he can bang, he can move around in the ring, he can cut corners and take angles."

I'm not going to say that I don't respect anything he does. I will say that I do a lot of things better than Shawn. I'm going to show him on Saturday.

The native of Omaha is fighting as a welterweight for the sixth time. He won the title with a victory over Jeff Horn and then defended it with a victory over Kell brook.

Crawford has finished his last eight opponents inside the 12-round distance. Porter has never been stopped. His three defeats were all by razor-thin decisions.

Crawford's trainer, Brian McIntyre, told Ben Baby that Bud will make Crawford look like a B-level fighter. We hope that Shawn comes in and pushes Bud to that type of performance.

Bud gets better and better each fight. Bud looks better when the opponent is tougher.

The two-time 147-pound champion will be back in the ring on Saturday. The Las Vegas resident will end Crawford's wait for an elite opponent.

Top Rank promotes Crawford and Porter is aligned with PBC. The feud between Bob Arum and Al Haymon stopped Crawford's hope of fighting a top-notch fighter. Bud finally had a top-flight foe to prove his talent against after the sides struck a deal to avoid a purse bid.

Porter said that he had more experience than Crawford, and that was a fact. The fight between me and Crawford is going to be great. Don't sleep on the fact that I have what it takes to beat him.
