The Society'sNatasha Liu Bordizzo will play the role of the Star Wars Rebels character, Sabine Wren, in a live action movie. During the events of Rebels, an ostracized Mandalorian named Wren joined the crew of the Ghost in the Lothal Rebel cell, and voiced in all.
The live-action version of Ahsoka is a former Jedi who aided the early days of the Rebellion as part of the secret agent network Fulcrum, but little is known about the character. The show will feature an appearance by Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith's Hayden Christensen as Ahsoka's former Jedi Master. It is rumored that the final chapter of Star Wars Rebels will pick up where the series left off, with Ahsoka returning to the planet Lothal to find out where the series' main character, Ezra Bridger, vanished after the battle for his homeworld.
The production of Ahsoka, a spinoff of the Mandalorian empire, is set to begin in 2022.
