Finally! We can now see free night certificates in our accounts.
This enhancement was reported by the US Credit Card Guide. Outstanding certificates, the last few digits of the certificate numbers, and the associate expiration dates are now visible. That is great news.
You can only see these certificates in your account if you have one of the co- branded Amex Hilton credit cards. Even if you have valid certificates, they will not show up if you don't have one of the cards.
If you need to search your email for the certificate number, you can easily see how many you have, because you have at least a few digits of the certificate number.
Unfortunately, these are not yet showing up in the app, but they do show up on desktop and mobile browsers.
They make it clear which free night certificates are associated with anniversary free nights and which are associated with 15K spend on qualified cards. It helps to know which certificate is which in case something fails to post.
This enhancement should make it easier to use these certificates. We would be all set if the certificates were bookable online and extended on January 3rd.
