Chase Will Open Airport Lounges In San Diego, New York, Boston And Hong Kong

Chase is launching its own airport lounge network in collaboration with Airport Dimensions, a Collinson company which brings you Priority Pass and The Club lounges.

There are 4 lounges in the works.

The New York Airport Terminal B is located in New York.

The Boston Terminal B-C is connected to a terminal in another city.

San Diego Terminal 2 West.

Hong Kong Gate 40.

Chris Dong at The Points Guy reported on the new news about the San Diego lounge. The lounge is expected to open in 2023 between gates 46 and 47.

Premium cardmembers from American Express, Capital One and Citibank would have access as well, according to reports. It's odd.

The Club lounges are appealing, but the airport isn't known for high-end lounge experiences. It will be interesting to see how the partnership delivers an experience similar to Capital One lounges given the broad access policies that have been reported elsewhere. It is hard to imagine Chase being willing to deliver an inferior experience. It is possible that access rules will be tightened to make that sustainable.

Capital One is following in the footsteps of American Express by opening its own airport lounges, two months after Chase announced its own lounge network. They have an access policy and their first three locations.
