Kim Kardashian West Funds Flight To Bring Afghan Girls' Soccer Team To UK

The soccer players from Afghanistan arrived in London with their families on Thursday after Kim Kardashian West paid for a charter flight to bring them to the U.K.

The group of 132 people, made up of players and their families, were offered the full cost of the charter flight by the reality TV star.

The players, who ranged in age from 13 to 19 years old, fled Afghanistan out of fear for their safety during the Taliban takeover and were staying in Pakistan on temporary visas.

They will follow U.K. coronaviruses measures and be under a 10 day quark.
