Ring doorbells will be able to greet people with holiday cheer

Ring is releasing holiday-themed Quick Replies to add some cheer to its automatic answering feature. If you would like to leave a message, you can do it now, instead of the usual "We can't answer the door right now, but if you'd like to leave a message, you can do it now" types of messages.

Quick Replies are available on most Ring doorbells. If you want visitors to be recorded for your doorbell greeting, you have to pay for a Ring Protect plan.

You can set carols like "Deck the Halls," "Jingle Bells," or "Oh Hanukkah" as your chime tones, so you can enjoy holiday music without leaving home.

Is spreading holiday cheer more enjoyable?

Ring added Halloween-themed Quick Replies earlier this year and seems to be building a collection of holiday-themed ones. I hope there is eventually a collection for every occasion; I would love to see you play a love song when someone is at the door around February 14th, or have your Ring tell guests that the package delivery person is The One.
