Kandji, the startup building an Apple device management business, has been doing well for itself with rapdily growing revenue, a fat valuation and lots of investment capital rolling in. The company did a $21 million Series A last year and then did a $100 million Series C today.
Definition, First Round Capital, Greycroft, Felicis Venture, The Spruce House Partnership, B Capital Group, and Okta Venture invested in Tiger Global. Kandji has raised over $188 million, according to the company.
The company offers a way to manage Apple devices for medium-to-large businesses and founder and CEO Adam Pettit says that the Pandemic and working from home really drove inbound customer interest. Revenue has grown over 700 percent in the last year.

We just started operations in Europe. He said that they are going to be rapidly hiring in London. The catalyst for that was really interesting. Roughly 25% of our top line revenues comes internationally, but we do very little to no marketing.
He is seeing bigger customers who are more comfortable with Kandji's long-term investment. He said that they have been adding larger and larger customers as they have been around longer. You need more sophisticated teams to manage larger customers. Over the last six months, we have been building that out.
The platform has grown from 40 employees at the start of the year to over 250 today, and they hope to get to 400 by next year. When I spoke to him around the Series B, he talked about how important it was to build a diverse and inclusive culture, and that it started with recruiting. He says the commitment has not wavered.
We do a number of different things to expand the reach of our pipeline, making sure we grab candidates that would not otherwise be available to us. Being able to hire remotely means that we are not targeting one specific market, which is great for building diversity for us. He said that it really helps for increasing the diversity of our hiring.
While the company has offices in San Diego and London, it is a remote first company and he intends to keep it that way moving forward.
