The England front row for Saturday's Test against South Africa is made up of two rookies.

Nic Dolly and Joe Marler are named on the bench, as they will not train until Friday.

Joe Marchant is on the wing.

Owen Farrell is out with an injury, so flanker Courtney Lawes is in charge.

The last time England and South Africa met was in the World Cup final, where the Springboks dominated to win 32-12.

Alex Corbisiero, an ex-British and Irish Lions prop, said during the week that England would face an uphill battle against the world champion without Jamie George.

So Rodd, who received his second cap, and Blamire, who received his fifth, will face a tough Test at Twickenham, with prop Kyle Sinckler offering more international expertise in the front row.

Jamie George's injury gives Blamire the chance to continue a remarkable England journey that has seen him score six tries in four games, having only ever started three times previously.

Alex Dombrandt and Sam Simmonds were both named to the bench once again.

In the backs, centre Marchant is selected on the wing ahead of Max Malins, with Adam Radwan left out of the matchday squad.

Tuilagi will partner Marcus Smith in the middle, with Henry Slade at outside centre.

Eddie Jones said that Saturday's match will be England's biggest game of the season, despite the fact that the side has claimed convincing wins against Australia and Tonga.

He said they want to finish with a bang.

The team has continued to develop over the past month, and we've been really pleased with the preparation this week.

We want to put on our best performance of the season in front of a crowd of 82,000.
