Josh Key was the sixth change made by the Grecians.

After fielding a sixth substitute in Tuesday's FA Cup first-round game, the Grecians have been ordered to replay the game.

The rules of the FA Cup state that teams cannot make more than five changes in a tie.

Josh Key replaced Sam Nombe at the start of extra time and the hosts went on to win.

The match will take place at St James Park.

The result of the match should not stand, according to the FA's Professional Game Board.

The Football Association said that the most appropriate action would be for the match to be re-run.

The League Two sides played a replay on Tuesday after they drew at Valley Parade.

The winners will travel to Cambridge United in the second round.
