Mario Kart Live’s 2.0 update makes multiplayer much easier and cheaper

The updated version of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit has a new feature: splitscreen local co-op.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit was a costly endeavor. You would need two karts, two Nintendo Switch consoles, and the game to play out on each player's screen. The 2.0 update allows you to hook up one Switch to a TV so that both players can stay on the couch as they race their karts around the room.

There is a new mode that allows for a single kart to be used in a game. Between two and four players can choose their own characters, with control changing between them after every lap. There is a new tournament called the Luigi Cup and three new courses in the update.

Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit will be included in Nintendo's Black Friday sales. The game will cost $60 from November 21st, which will save you $40.
