This Barbie car is life-sized and drivable and yeah I absolutely want it

Capitalism and a lot of glitter won today.

The Los Angeles Auto Show has futuristic concept cars. The car I saw at the annual convention that I wanted the most was a glitter-covered convertible with a Barbie interior.

There was a display in the hallway that stood out more than the beige upholstery and gray suits. The floor was painted with rainbow swirls and there was a background with the Barbie logo. The main event was the Barbie EXTRA car.
The car has glitter paint on it and is a convertible. The license plate reads "Barbie" and the headlights and brakelights are stars.
The headlights have never shined brighter.

I want the Barbie car. I want to go to the mall with my bestie if she can get in. We'll drink cherry cola and wear impractical shoes. Step on it, Barbie!
I think I need a car.

The car at the Auto Show is a modified version of the original. This car isn't being manufactured or sold for all of us Barbies with drivers licenses. It is a marketing stunt.

It's possible that Tweet has been deleted.

The new line of Barbies and their new "EXTRA" car were on display.

The only explanation for what was going on at the Barbie booth was that the Barbie Extra dolls embody maximalism to the max. The stylish crew has a'more is more' attitude.

I don't care if it's a stunt to sell dolls with smooth plastic crotches. The car is large. Why can't it be mine? I want it. The Barbie car is something I want. Give it to me. Be alert!
