The Texas Tech radio broadcasters were reprimanded by the Big 12 for their call of the Iowa State game.
Brian Jensen and John Harris went so far as to list off individual officials during the game.
The league said Jensen and Harris would not be calling the Oklahoma State game.
Bob Bowlsby said he understood the roles of the play-by-play and color analyst. University representatives have an obligation to follow Conference policy regarding comments about game officials. The Red Raider Radio Network booth commentators made comments that were not in line with expectations. Asking the integrity of Conference officials and specifically calling out members of the officiating crew is not permissible behavior.
The Tech commentators were apoplectic after the officials overturned an apparent pick up by Dadrion Taylor-Demerson.
The Big 12 does not want Iowa State to lose the game.
"Bob Bowlsby, you need to answer to this," Jensen said. This is ridiculous. The referee crew was in favor of Iowa State. It's unbelievable.
The Texas Tech students started throwing trash on the field after the overturned pick up. The students were ordered to leave the stadium after the officials gave the Red Raiders an unsportsmanlike conduct call.
Jensen said he had never seen anything like this before.
He said the Big 12 should be embarrassed. The Big 12 should be embarrassed by this group. We pointed out two guys. I'm going to read them all to you.
Jensen named every member of the crew.
Jensen asked why there wasn't a review on a play that was ruled an intercept, despite tight endTravis Koontz appearing to be down by contact before the ball came loose.

Texas Tech interim coach Sonny Cumbie called a timeout. Several pass interference calls were taken exception to by the Red Raiders.
Texas Tech fans were vocal about the officials on social media, and the team's account even mentioned it in the announcement of the final score.
The final score can't be changed.
