'The Expanse' dials the space drama up to 11 in new full trailer for Season 6

The first full trailer for Season 6 of "The Expanse" shows an escalating conflict with Marco Inaros and his growing band of Belter terrorists that call themselves the Free Navy.

The sixth and final season of "The Expanse" will premiere on the streaming service Amazon Prime Video on Dec. 10 and it picks up with the solar system at war, as Marco Inaros continues to launch devastating asteroid attacks on Earth and Mars. As the tensions of war and shared loss threaten to pull the crew of the Rocinante apart, Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo) makes a bold move and sends a former Marine on a secret mission that could turn the tide. In the Belt, the drummer and her family are on the run after betraying Marco. A new power begins to rise on a distant planet.

We saw a promo back in October, and this time it has a narration. We see a glimpse of New York, flooded and on fire. Trying to keep ourselves going by pretending we're not. Marco Inaros calls for Belters to unite against the Earthers and the Martians in a frightening voice.
Amazon is ending their production of this season. The events in book 6 are brought to us by the authors Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck. "Leviathan Falls" is the ninth novel in the series and will be released in November. There is a 28 year gap between the events of "Persepolis Rising" and "Babylon's Ashes" in the story. It's not clear if another studio will pick up the show to continue.

Amazon is ending their production of this season. The events in book 6 are brought to the attention of the audience. "Leviathan Falls" is the ninth novel in the series and will be released in November of this year. There is a 28-year gap between the events of "Persepolis Rising" and "Babylon's Ashes", so this seems like a natural break.

It's great to see the regulars again, Naomi Nagata (Dominique Tipper), Jim Holden (Steven Strait), Amos Burton (Wes Chatham), as well as Clarissa Mao (Nadine Nicole), who had a great story with Amos.
The sixth season will consist of six episodes and will premiere on Amazon Prime TV. There will be one episode available on this date and new installments will be released weekly until January 24, 2022.

We will have "The Book of Boba Fett" on Disney Plus on Wednesdays, "Star Trek: Discovery" on Thursdays and "The Expanse" on Fridays in January. "Lost in Space" season 3 is on the streaming service. It is going to be a great Christmas for science fiction fans.
