Brandon Belt accepted an $18.4 million qualifying offer from the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday rather than pursue as a free agent.

The 14 free agents who received offers from their former clubs were the only one to accept Belt.

First baseman Freddie Freeman of the Atlanta Braves, catcher Carlos Correa of the Houston Astros, pitcher Raisel Iglesias of the Los Angeles Angels, left-handed pitcher Robbie Ray of the Los Angeles Angels, and second baseman/shortstop Marcus Semien of the Toronto Blue Jays all turned down offers

Two of the players who received offers have finalized their contracts. Eduardo Rodriguez left Boston for a five-year, $77 million contract with the Detroit Tigers, while Noah Syndergaard left the Mets for a one-year, $21 million contract with the Angels.

Belt hit a career-best 29 home runs last season and had 59 runs.
