Frequent Miler is looking for a new writer! Frequent Miler is looking for a travel/points/deals lover to work 20-40 hours per week. This is a contract job. Specific wages can be negotiable and will vary depending on the qualifications of the applicant.
Duties
Keep up-to-date with travel news, points & mileage, and deals by actively monitoring forums and blogs.
Quick Deals can be published and authored. These could include travel deals and award deals as well as gift card deals.
Maintain resource pages. Author, publish and maintain them. Examples include our airline & hotel loyalty program guides: AA, Delta, Southwest, Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, etc.
Actively maintain our Best Offers database. Test credit card application links regularly and replace broken ones when necessary. As soon as they are discovered, publish better Best Offers.
Maintain affiliate links. Administer compliance issues for affiliates.
Keep your referral links.
Miscellaneous items to be determined.
Additional information about the position
There is no Frequent Miler office. You can work at home, in coffee shops, libraries, or lounges. The team meets weekly via Zoom. However, they communicate many times per day using Slack and email.
While we would prefer that someone start as soon as possible, we will still consider great applicants who are unable to start immediately.
