iOS 15.2 beta 2 adds a toggle to enable Macro mode on iPhone 13 Pro Max and iPhone 13 Pro Max, when Auto Macro has been disabled in Settings. This allows users to turn Macro mode off manually from the Camera app.
Aaron Zollo first noticed the new feature. It displays a flower icon at the bottom left of your screen when you are close enough to an object to activate Macro mode. To disable or re-enable macro mode, users can tap the flower icon.

Users will need to navigate to Settings and then to Camera to enable the toggle. When the object is close enough, the toggle will automatically appear. Auto Macro also has new Preserve settings.
Macro mode is activated by default on the iPhone 13 Pro when it is within close proximity to an object. This has led to Macro mode activating in unwelcome circumstances. This toggle is significantly better than the one in iOS 15.1. Users have to go into the Settings app to disable Macro mode temporarily.
iOS 15.2 beta 2 also included a variety of improvements such as Legacy Contacts and Find My Lost Item scanning. Communication Safety was also improved. These enhancements are in addition to features from the first iOS 15.2 beta which included App Privacy Report, tweaks for Emergency SOS and a redesigned Summary of Notifications.
