After a Champions League match at Breidablik, Iceland last month, Diallo (number twenty) and team-mate Kheira Hamaraoui (number fourteen) leave the pitch together.
Aminata Diallo, Paris St-Germain's women's midfielder, has been released by French police without charges after an investigation into an attack on Kheira Hamraoui.
Diallo was arrested Wednesday.
26-year-old Diallo was driving Hamraoui, along with another unnamed teammate, home from a Paris team meal on 4/11 when they were stopped by two masked men.
The Versailles prosecutor's Office has not yet commented on the investigation.
Police have also released a 34-year old man, who was also arrested in connection to the attack.
Diallo's France-based friend Hamraoui was pulled from her car after the attack and had her legs beat.
Hamraoui, 31 years old, was admitted to hospital with stitches to her legs and arms.
PSG released a statement Wednesday after Diallo was arrested. It stated that they are working with police to "explain the facts".
The club strongly condemned "the violence committed" and also stated that they had taken all necessary steps to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of their players since the attack occurred.
Diallo has been capped seven times in France. He joined PSG in 2016, and has played more than 60 games for the club. However, he was loaned to Atletico Madrid last year.
