Jacinda Ardern's toddler adorably interrupted her Facebook Live

Even Kiwi politicians seem to be prone to the domestic misadventures that come with working from home. Jacinda Ardern, the New Zealand prime minister, was interrupted on Monday night by her three year-old daughter. Little Neve seems to have considered bedtime more of a suggestion rather than a rule.
Ardern said, "You're meant to be in bed, darling," and looked offscreen ostensibly towards her toddler. It's bedtime darling. "It's bedtime, darling.

Arden's mother presumably took Neve away. She wasn't discouraged, and she popped up again later. This prompted Arden to end the Live.

Arden was hosting the livestream after-hours to provide information for New Zealanders about the country's COVID-19 response. Despite the adorable and unexpected interruptions, the prime minister was able to finish the task.

"Does anyone else have children who escape three to four times after bedtime?" Ardern smiled. "Thankfully, my mum is here so she can help."
