We all wondered, "Who would spend $6,000 to stay in Disney's Star Wars hotel and have an LARP for two nights?". Ready to be cut by our hubris, Anakin Skywalker cutting his way through younglings. It turns out that there are a lot of people.

Today's Disney FY2021 earnings call was a chance for shareholders to hear from Bob Chapek, Disney CEO. He confirmed that Walt Disney World’s Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser is "virtually fully booked" for the first four months. The hotel will open in spring next year and has approximately 100 rooms at any given time. It's still a lot of bookings considering that you can only stay there for two days. It's not uncommon to pay high prices for bookings. A two-night stay can cost anywhere from $4,800 to $6, 000.
Given that Disney expects people will book regular Disney park vacations around their Galactic Starcruiser stay, any possible trip will cost more than most Disney park excursions. This meant that pricing announcements made earlier this year were met by a lot of ridicule. We might be able to mock Disney, but there is a reason that Disney is so mahoosive: If it sells it there will be people who will pay for it.
It's really all you have to do is read the comic book and wait. It'll be cheaper than the whole town, and Rose Tico would love it. Spaceship. Hotel-spaceship
