As one of five personnel changes, Wing Alex Cuthbert from Wales will be making his first appearance in four years for Sunday's match against Fiji.

In a revamped backline, full-back Liam Williams and scrum-half Kieran Harty are recalled. Centre Johnny Williams is also recalled.

Thomas Young, the Wasps' flanker, is back as the only change to the pack.

After starring in South Africa's defeat last Saturday, Ellis Jenkins, a fellow back rower, captains Wales. This was his first Test in three years.

Dan Biggar remains at fly-half, while Josh Adams moves from the wing to the centre.

Taine Basham moves from openside flanker, to number 8, to assist Aaron Wainwright, who is injured and Wales hopes will be able to face Australia on the 20th of November.

Christ Tshiunza, an uncapped Exeter forward, is on the bench. Callum Sheedy, a returning Bristol fly-half will join him.

Tshiunza, 19 years old, will make his debut in Wales during the Autumn Nations Series.

Wayne Pivac, Wales' head coach, said that he has seen his team come in and had a great training program. He also coaches Fiji.

"We see him as a player in the future who can potentially cover two positions in the second row or at six.

"We are really looking forward seeing him out there. He will be energetic, excited about the opportunity, and he is a great asset for the future.

"We want to be in a position to make the most of our squad whenever possible. We don't have many options for forwards due to injuries or unavailability.

Christ Tshiunza has not yet started an English Premiership match for Exeter Chiefs

Pivac stated that the exciting part of Josh Adams' selection was his chance to get an opportunity. This is really looking to the future.

"When picking a World Cup squad with 33 players, you need to have players who can play in multiple positions. We've wanted to do this for a while so let's see how Josh does in the midfield.

"Fiji is big and powerful, but they are also very fast outward. Louis Rees Zamit and Alex Cuthbert were introduced to keep an eye on how fast the Fijians will go. We need to be able match that speed.

"They bring a different offloading game than the South Africans.

They are a great side. They are a greatly improved side of Fiji's teams, certainly since I was involved with Fiji.
