Remember Apple's $19 cleaning cloth? Well, Samsung is giving away its own for free.

Sometimes mocking Apple can be too easy.
Apple's October innovation was a polishing cloth. It costs $19. Although it's a fine cloth, the outrageous price for this small rag led to a lot of jokes on Twitter. Apple's fancy marketing copy also didn't help matters.

Samsung seems to have made fun of Apple by giving away a polishing brush for free, whether it was intentional or not.

Galaxy Club, a Dutch outlet (via Android Authority), spotted a promotion in Germany that promises a free polishing cloth for Samsung Members app users. It is limited to the first 1000 people who sign up.

Samsung's polishing cloth measures 20x20 cms. This is more than Apple's 16x16 cm cloth. It also means you get more cloth for your money. But, you have to wonder if Samsung's cloth is as soft, safe, and effective as Apple.

It is not known if the promotion will be offered in other countries or if Samsung's polishing cloth may be available for purchase.

We wouldn't be surprised to see Samsung charging for a polishing cloth, given its history of mocking Apple (see the headphone jack and phone chargers),
