Lego’s new $800 AT-AT is practically big enough to conquer a real-life Rebel base

Lego announced the latest Star Wars set, a $800, 6,785-piece replica, of the iconic AT/AT tank that was seen in The Empire Strikes Back.
The new set is part the Lego Ultimate Collector Series, which has been offering ultra-accurate (and expensive) replicas of classic Star Wars characters and ships for years.

While Lego has made many AT-AT sets in the past, none are as cool as this new set, which measures 24.5 inches tall and 27 inches long. It also features removable sides and posable legs to showcase the interiors.

The troop carrier can also carry an Imperial legion (Lego-sized). While the set contains only nine minifigures (General Veers, a Snowtrooper Command, four Snowtroopers, two AT-AT Drivers and four Snowtroopers), the set can hold 40 figures (assuming that you have Stormtroopers to fill it). The UCS AT-AT can also accommodate up to four speeder bikes, although only two are included.

The set features "posable legs, head, opening hatches and cannons with realistic recoil actions, rotating cannons and bomb-drop hatches as well as a hook that can be attached to Luke Skywalker’s line."

The AT-AT is a magnificent looking piece of junk, but it doesn't quite compare to Lego's Star Wars set, the 2017 Ultimate Collectors Series Millennium Falcon. This set sold for an eye-watering $800, had more pieces, minifigures and was far more famous than the AT-AT. The AT-AT can't compete with the galaxy’s fastest junk.

Lego will sell the new Lego UCS AT/AT set on November 26th, just in time to celebrate the holidays. We have gathered the best-resolution photos that we could find to allow you to blow them up and see all that detail.
