Pogba was hurt in the thigh while training with France on Monday
Paul Pogba, Manchester United's midfielder, could be out for the rest of 2021 due to an injury sustained while on duty in France.
According to initial estimates, the France camp will keep the 28-year old out between six and eight more weeks.
This will bring Pogba up to the end, when he can sign precontract terms with overseas clubs as his United contract expires in June.
He would be absent for up to eight weeks if he was not available.
Recent weeks have seen Pogba's Old Trafford future be overshadowed by home defeats against Liverpool and Manchester City, which have further sparked debate about the future management of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Former Juventus midfielder, he was already set to miss United's next match away to Watford in Premier League on 20 Nov. He is currently serving a domestic ban for three matches following his substitution against Liverpool.
Due to injury, Solskjaer, United boss, is currently without several players.
Raphael Varane, Pogba's international teammate is currently out with a hamstring injury. Uruguay forward Edinson Camian missed the defeat to Manchester City last Saturday. Luke Shaw, England's left-back was substituted after suffering a head injury.
Shaw is currently following concussion protocol, and was not able to link up with the England squad Monday.
