SAN FRANCISCO -- Warriors' star guard Stephen Curry scored a record 50 points Monday night in Golden State’s 127-113 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
Curry was 14-for-28 on the field, 9 for-19 from 3-point range, and 13-for-13 at the free throw line. He also had 10 assists and seven rebound in 35 minutes.

Steve Kerr, Steph's coach, said that it was a "dazzling performance." "... He was incredible. He was amazing.

Curry began the night with a 10-0 run. He just kept going, hitting shots from every corner of the floor while the Chase Center crowd sang "MVP!" Curry chanted.

Curry scored his 10th 50-point victory of his career. He also became the third Warriors player to record a total of 50 points and 10 assists.

Curry, now 33 years old, passed Chamberlain (31) to become the oldest player in NBA history who has posted a 50-10 win. Curry now has four 50-point games, all at 32 years or older. This is second in NBA history to Michael Jordan (5).

Kerr stated, "It doesn’t get old for sure,"

Curry's final basket of the evening, a 16-foot floater at 3:59 p.m. in regulation, was his last basket. He received high-fives from all around the bench and a standing ovation.

Curry stated, "It's always pleasant." Curry said, "You don't come out with a set number in your mind." You just have to keep going once you get it moving.

The Warriors' record for wins is now 9-1.
